About Me

I am only seeing new clients in a very limited manner and only virtually at this point...and with that said...It’s important for you to find a therapist you can trust to help you reach your goals of achieving lasting change.  I see myself as a compassionate listener, a professional who still loves his work, and as someone who will work with you to find solutions for success.  Therapy equals change.

I have enjoyed working with adults, teenagers, couples, and families over the past 30 years.  A trained cognitive-behavioral and family systems therapist, I use many techniques to help achieve the results you want.  Oftentimes, we’re working to establish positive communication skills and stronger interpersonal relationships with friends, family, partners, and/or co-workers.  Otherwise, I’m searching for patterns in your behavior, thoughts, and relationships with an eye toward making positive changes that seemed difficult to make on your own.  Therapy really is about you becoming your best you.  A good session is one where you’ve started thinking in new ways and given new ideas or strategies a try after leaving the office.

I have extensive experience providing ANGER MANAGEMENT/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TRAINING.  I work with an Anger Management manual I wrote and domestic violence curricula that has proved successful over the years. Generally, it involves helping you become more self-protective and successful in dealing with others.  I have years of experience doing MARRIAGE COUNSELING / COUPLES COUNSELING as well having graduated from a Marriage & Family Counseling doctoral program.

Feel free to give a call at (908) 342-4056 and see if my services would be a good match for your needs.  I look forward to talking with you.
